Well, we have to do that in a lot of ways. At work we have bosses. I sometimes disagree with mine, he often listens to me and the knowledge I have in an area he doesn't know much about; The Pool. But other times, as he has bosses, and has to manage a bigger picture, he'll impose a standard I may whole heartedly oppose, and often I let him know, but I abide by it.
