Woodie, would you tell me if you see other connections/similarities btw Gothard and Grudem besides this one regarding the woman's role in the church? I am fairly familiar with Gothard. I attended one seminar, read some of his books, and know people who are followers. All that I know about Grudem is from his Systematic Theology book. I read the introduction to the section on women in the church last night b/c I wanted to see exactly what he thought. I admit that I haven't read it all, as yet, but the introductory paragraph was very fair, imo. It is not my desire to attack you on your perceptions or thoughts regarding women in the church. I know that you have studied this area far more than I have; so if you would share why it is that you couple Gothard and Grudem, I feel that I might have a better understanding of your position. And, if you don't mind, I might ask you further questions or make further comments.
