I hope that I didn't send the message to you, Woodie, that just b/c I don't think that it's likely that I will be a missionary to some foreign land, that I don't think that it should be a goal of yours. I'm not sure what you have in mind as "missionary" work, but, if that is something that you strongly desire, and you believe that God is calling you to that service, then I pray that it will happen. And I'm sure that it will if God is in it.

Also, I didn't intend to communicate a lofty attitude in relating that story about Gothard. It just happened that we didn't continue with that ministry; however, we came VERY close to becoming part of it. I don't look down on you for having been a part of that ministry. Salem and I have very good friends that work with Gothard. They are fine dedicated people. We just don't agree on many of Gothard's teachings, but we are all believers.
