Bad experiences. Several of them increasing in intensity.
I didn't need to keep banging my head against a granite wall. But it took the Lord to totally deliver me. Being around other ex-freaks (COG at the time) who weren't getting stoned, helped. It was actually harder for me to stop smoking cigarettes than it was to stop taking meth.
The thing about speed is that after awhile, the down is 4 times worse than the high is "good". Like slamming a rubber ball down real hard to send it up higher. She needs something better to replace that addiction.
