My child is in the tenth grade right now, and he is actually out of school for a week now. We are trying to find a new environment for him,but really we thought that was the best place,especially with what they said in their flyer. He is extremely gifted, and that is from an early age,but being different always has been difficult for him,was bullied early on. At this time, he says that he is not a good student, would not go back to that school and other schools do not want to accept him in the course of the year. He thought of correspondence courses,but cannot before sixteen in this country.
He will be more advanced than other students but will not get the credit in the public school system,so he will probably be more frustrated.
