No, I've don't recall seeing that photo before. Or, perhaps, I did, but didn't understand it's significance until reading this text.

After doing a little research on the Net, I found that it was first published in 1995.

"This story was published in Worchester Telegram & Gazette (November 18, 1995), Life Magazine (June 1996 - Page 18) and Reader's Digest (May 1996 Pages 155-156)"

It's interesting how many adults are uncomfortable with hugs. At least, I run into them when I least expect it sometimes. Seems that I read someplace that we should get *at least* one hug a day, or give one. It strengthens the immune system.
