I hurt my ankle pretty badly a few years ago on a trip. When I came back to work in a boot and on crutches I found I had 3 teachers out of town and found myself teaching 3 classes a day. I'd take off the boot, slide down the steps on my rear (Cute Huh?), and teach with my bum leg tucked up like a flamingo. It healed really fast and my tendons are a lot stronger than they were. I was twisting and turning my ankles a the drop of a hat. All that to say, get back in the H2O as soon as the Dr will let you.
