Holidays????

I was wondering what things y'all do for the Holidays; what traditions you have formed or dumped; how things are changing as the kids grow, have their own families etc.???

We had a very traditional Holiday with my In-laws (and we really loved it),and now we are altering things a bit. My mother-in-law was the glue there and now she's passed on. Things stayed the same for a wile but now my kids have kids and the uncles kids have kids and it's cold to travel in the winter but we still crave the traditions and are looking to make new ones.

Green Bean Casserole is a must. (I hate corn bread dressing)

Caroling at the neighbors houses is pretty secure, depending on baby's ages and stuff.

Midnight candle-light service at In-laws church is always awesome, I've carried some tired kids home on cold nights. You'd think they'd sleep in. OH NO! We open packages on Christmas Am. I only missed it when my youngest was just a week old. I was so mad.

Grampa (George's Dad) wears the Santa hat and calls out and passes the presents from the tree. But last year we opened ours at our house. We had a grand son play Santa. It was weird.:)

Oldest Grand son cuts down the tree (he lives in town).

I collect Nativities from all over so my house is often overwhelmed with them. That's too long a story.

What are yours????? What things annoy you? What are your best memories? Worst?
