I am trying right now to see God in the situation. I was praying a little bit today and thanked God for my son and asked Him to be with him. It's not easy,but right now I am starting to see that my son is somehow learning from his choices and is starting to realize that we cannot get away from everything and that it catches up to us one way or the other. He is starting to learn to make decisions,not mine, it is true. While he is doing that, I am learning to stay in the background, without intervention, to let the chips fall where they may, not where I want them to fall... It is a difficult exercise to let others make their own mistakes, let them walk in traps while they are falling into traps that could have been so easily avoided if only I could have walked in the right path instead of him.
Thanks... I have more hope and serenity this week, even though things are not turning the way I want them to as yet.
I had a bit of courage to pray today.
