Thanks Miriam, I for one welcome your research. There is so little accurate information that does not portray anyone who joined the COG or such groups as weak minded and troubled. There may have been areas of our lives that left us vulnerable (as I have said I was adopted. As well, my adopted father divorced my mother, and I have noted such difficulties among others), but it has been my finding that, especially in the early days, people joined for the purpose of serving God in a whole hearted way. We all come into this world broken. Some choose to seek healing and offer it to others, other to enslave and abuse. Berg was of the later breed.

Anyway, I truly encourage folks to participate. It's rather cathartic as well.
